Reports
Each topic area of 'Personal Inventory has a number of reports that can be produced. A listing can be produced from the browse screen by clicking the 'Print' button.
In the documents screen you can also click on the picture and a full page report of the stored documents will be produced.
In the main option bar at the side of the application clicking the 'Reports' button will open this screen:

This shows all of the available reports.
Click any button to show the report.
These reports will either be a listing with no pictures.
or a form report with the picture.
as below

The reports are grouped by the main classification and each group has a sub total of cost and in some cases current value.
There is also a grand total at the end of the report.

For a multi page report you can select the page browser view option (the icon next to the 2nd printer icon) and the click the page you want or use the navigation buttons at the top.
You can print the whole report or any page range by clicking the appropriate printer icon at the top of the screen.
You can also export the report to MS Word or similar if you want to include it into a particular document. Be aware that the formatting does not export and some of the columns may appear uneven.
Similarly you can export the report to a .pdf file which makes it readable in Adobe Acrobat. This does preserve the formatting but is not editable once exported. The viewer will need Acrobat Reader to see the document. This is available from the Adobe website. It is free.
This probably the best format to save the document in for archive purposes if you want to keep an electronic snapshot or paper based hard copy.
You can save an HTML copy which will make a single page readable document in a web browser.
Finally you can email the pdf document directly to an email address as an attachment.
You will always normally see your email system screen ope with the report attached ready for you to complete the recipient details.
The first time that you do this you will be asked for the details of your email system.
You can get these from the account details in your email system.
If you use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express you can find these by going to .Tools>Accounts>Properties and getting the data from there. Be careful not to change any of your settings as this would stop your email from working.
