Start up programme
When you download the software from the web there are two programmes. One is called StartUp Inventory.
This programme will run every time you turn on your computer. It will look at your Inventory database and if it finds any prompts that you have set up for renewals, expiries or maturity it will prompt you by how ever many weeks you requested.
You can switch the individual prompts off once you have actioned them.
Likewise if you have completed any events in the event log form in the main programme then these will show one month in advance of the event until the day of the event.
If you have nominated the event to be a recurring event then it will reset itself for a year in the future and will re-prompt you at that time. If you did not select the event to be recurring it will be deleted after the event.
So you need never miss a birthday or wedding anniversary again.
If you enter a recurring event for 29th February in a leap year, next year and subsequent years it will show as 28th February.
